Postdoctoral Researchers
The Hynes Lab would support an application to the Canada Postdoctoral Research Award Program for a qualified researcher. Interested applicants should have at least 2 publications involving behavioural neuroscience in rats and demonstrated expertise in one of the following: fibre photometry, operant intravenous self-administration, or RNAScope imaging/analysis. To discuss possible projects, please reach out to Dr. Hynes.
Graduate Students
The Hynes Lab is accepting graduate students. Both the MA and PhD in Psychology come with guaranteed funding. Experience in rat behaviour is required. Please take a deep look at our research and write a thoughtful email to Dr. Hynes outlining what you find fascinating about our research and why you would be a great fit for the lab. Do include your CV. Dr. Hynes would be strained to reply to a generic AI-generated expression of interest.
